The Beretta 687 Silver Pigeon III in 28 gauge is a refined over-and-under shotgun that combines classic aesthetics with modern performance. Built on Beretta’s renowned 680-series action, it offers a slim, low-profile design known for its reliability and minimal maintenance requirements.

This model features a scaled-down receiver tailored specifically for the 28 gauge, ensuring optimal balance and handling. The receiver is adorned with intricate game scene engravings, including depictions of pheasants and partridges, crafted using advanced 5-axis laser technology for a detailed and elegant finish.

The shotgun is equipped with Beretta’s Steelium Optima Bore HP barrels made from tri-alloy steel, available in 26″, 28″, and 30″ lengths. These barrels are designed to deliver excellent ballistic performance and reduced recoil.

The stock and forend are made from select grade 2.5 walnut with a glossy finish that highlights the wood grain while providing resistance to moisture. A 20mm MicroCore recoil pad ensures comfortable shooting by effectively absorbing recoil.

With a weight of approximately 6.2 pounds and a length of pull around 14.7 inches, the 687 Silver Pigeon III 28 gauge offers a balanced and responsive shooting experience, making it an excellent choice for upland hunting and clay target sports
